Yet again, my point has been proven, 'Don't trust the name on the label'. I am only too happy to give up the name Agave ghiesbreghtii but I would like to know the real name. However, as hybrids are everywhere these days the chances of getting the correct one are not good. Perhaps it would be better ...

If your's flowered prolifically with white flowers and then seedlings turned up in any number of pots, then it is Sedum hispanicum. I have it and I have seedlings, very pretty, that have popped up in all sorts of pots. I don't know how hardy it is but I am sure it is in some of my pots outside so co...

I bought most of these at BCSS shows and events. I have found these are good places to find interesting and unusual plants, you must keep your eyes open, though. I have also bought some on continental trips.

Hi Jean, it must be a slow grower, as I have had this at least five years and it has not grown much at all. This is it's first pot and it is just in need of re-potting-next year.

Hi Tony, rain is that wet stuff that falls from a grey sky, most of the year. that is what happens in the Manchester region, it's not like the sunny Kent. Perhaps people don't realise what a wide diversity of habitat exists in the UK, it's not quite desert and at times somewhat tropical. However, in...
