To me it really looks like old age corking. I have a couple of old ones and they have had some corking around the base going on for a few years now.

Well,I have found that even a few hours in full sun,after having stood in a window,could cause a lot of damage on sensitive plants. There is a great difference between full sun and sun through a window!

I have had some of mine in the GH during winter with temps down to +2 without any problems. I have some other plants that according to lots of growers shouldn´t have temps below +10 at the same conditions as the obesas, also showing no problems. That´s just to show you that there are no absolutes re...

My T buchholzianus is growing on very nicely but have never flowered, i might be doing something wrong :oops:

With a new editor there have been quite a change in the balance between the two groups,today it´s about 70/30 in favour of the "others". If that continues in the next issues i will not renew!

I´m really surprised Sandi since we share about the same temperature conditions.In my greenhouse there are but a few plants in flower at the moment-M.sanchez-mejoradae, M magallani T macrochele, but lots of buds on others especially Pedio -Sclero and Gymnocacti. Let+s hope the good weather continues !

There is trains from Brussels to Blankenberge without changing and there are quite a few hotels in Blankenberge with very moderate prices,but you would have to book a long time in advance, they sell out quite early because of ELK. You just should have visited ELK at least once in your lifetime!!! :l...
