To my nose they have a slightly medicinal scent (wintergreen perhaps) with a undertone of fresh mushrooms if you sniff hard...

Some of your asclepiads may be happy in the cooler house, I have a few Stapelias etc in my greenhouse at 5C and they are thriving.

Very envious of that flower Tony. I gave away all but one of my seedlings sown in Dec 2007, as they grew too well and I ran out of windowsill space. My remaining plant is still growing happily (ridiculously happily), and is now in a 7" pan. No sign of flowers yet though http://i259.photobucket....

I always calculate the value of my order to avoid paying the VAT limit, and if I order CITES seed, I put them on a separate order, as they take much longer due to the US paperwork.
