I have just been looking through the list of UK based nurseries on the Cactus and Succulent Plant Mall.
Is it just me, but a number of them don't show anything when you try to click on them, and other links just take you to Ebay? Not having been to a cactus mart recently are the number of UK growers diminishing?
In particular, have the Edgingtons given it up? Not a surprise if so, following their thefts a few years ago.
I was looking to replace a number of Gymnocalyciums that went West recently.

This is the website for the Edgintons (one G). They are still around.
All the other links seem to work, whether there are any lists online is another matter......

Re: Cactus Nurseries
Thanks Chris and Chris.
I haven't been to see JP or DS at Farnborough for some time. I feel an excursion coming on!

Re: Cactus Nurseries
I don't know much about cactus nurseries in the UK in general but I was very impressed with the amount of adds at the back of the "Cactus Explorer" journal.

Re: Cactus Nurseries
I was told Rene Geisler had retired, but his website is still online and Glenhirst has closed through illness. Edgington's were at the Spalding Cactus Mart though.

The problem is defunct websites often stay online long after they have expired.
