Not so nice for the orchids, but the Avonias seemed to like it.
You can almost set your watch by them...
At noon, A. harveyi and A. albissima
A. quinaria ssp alstonii and A. dinteri are snoozing At 2pm harveyi and albissima are closed for the day, but A. dinteri is open for business
At 4pm A. quinaria ssp alstonii finally opens Finally (this one was taken on another hot day, 21st May) at 5pm, A. papyracea
