Impressive and not so impressive flowers
I have the following in flower at the moment. The Rebutia heliosa is always guaranteed to put on a good show. The Lobivia needs a name, although I realise that won't be easy just going by the flowers. This is the first time I have managed to get flowers on an Epithelantha micromeris so I am quite pleased despite their underwhelming size and form.

Difficult without a better view of the body, but your Lobivia looks like it might be close to Lobivia arachnacantha.

The flower looks just like those on my arachnacantha v. torricellisensis.David_L wrote: your Lobivia looks like it might be close to Lobivia arachnacantha.

Hi David
Here is a photo I took soon after getting it last year, concentrating on the body and excluding the flower. I hope that helps. Phil
