The wonderful weather over the last few weeks has really spurred our cacti into flower, here are a few of mine!
First, Mammillaria luethyii, this is a 6 year old plant grown from my own seed (showing it can be done, although I have had no luck germinating seeds for the last few years!)
Next, Echinocereus davisii, quite a few years old, with 3 heads - citrus scented flowers.
Mammillaria pectinifera, going great guns:
Mammillaria albiflora:
A very spiny Glandulicactus uncinatus var. wrightii:

Hi Diane - as always, with your plants, glorious! I'm particularly envious of your white-flowered Mammillopsis - well done

Great stuff, all very desirable plants. I also have M. luethyi from seed but not so big. My mature M. luethyi is producing flowers in sequence so not so impressive as yours, but it did throw two pups last year

Very nice flowers Diane, especially the luethyii, but I just love the spines on the Glandulicactus.

Sileri has yellow flowers Diane, spination doesn't look right either, new spines on sileri are a vivid orange/red. I'd lean more towards parviflorus.

Re: Flowers - all systems go!
A beautiful selection Diane. I have just sown some seeds of that Glandulicactus and am looking forward to spines like that. I had a grafted Utahia sileri but it perished in the winter. I think the plant itself would have been OK but I suspect it was grafted on something tender. I am really disappointed because I always wanted one and only recently found it. Does anyone know where I might get a replacement?
