Well, if you wanted to translate directly from Romanian into Croatian it's a bit more complicated. Google translates first into English, and from English into Croatian. This won't happen without errors - and specialized texts are prone to this. But at this stage this is the best way to translate the book - at least the most interesting passages.

On the other hand Dag Panco is a very good storyteller, and a rather verbal man. This is not an "academic" writing - despite appearances - some passages are rather narrated, but also some sentences are very nuanced and complex. Or, sometimes, quite syncopated, leaving room for interpretation. This means - translating his texts into English is quite a task. But beyond anything - Dag is a great cactus grower, and knows how to keep cacti in a great natural condition, when you have 40+ degrees in summer and -10 or -20 in winter.

There is an intention of publishing this book in an English edition as well, but it won't be happening too soon. Not this year.

Cheers,
Eduart

That's how the old Google Translator worked, but the new one works directly from one language to another.
See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_Translate
However, the new one apparently isn't up to speed yet on Croatian and Romanian, so, that will go via English.
