Cleistocactus Help

Post by Flavio »

I had to cut about two feet off my cleistocactus because it was to tall. I have researched various places about propagting these cactus but have not read anywhere about rooting the parts that I have cut off. Is it possible to get these cuttings (the tops that were cut off) to take root?

Definitely! Just leave them dry until next spring, pot up in an open mix and water sparingly until rooted.
