Hi all
Today another specy from Madagascar :Aloe deltoideodonta fallax
20 cm in diameter striated leaves becoming red in full sun

Aloe florenceae another tiny specy from Madagascar (pot 5,5cm ) with flowers hyacinth smelling

Lovely aloe forenceae, I bought a very small one from STC this year. It is already looking very nice. Mike what are your diffiiculties with erinacea? it seems to me to be a bit dry. I kept mine fairly damp all summer and now I give it some water when it starts to look a bit deflated, and only the hairy spine structures turn brown

Drying out of the leaf tips. Maybe I do keep it too dry...........

This is how I want it to look! I've seen this plant in the flesh many times. Probably the finest Aloe have ever seen.

After seeing this Aloe, I went in the g.h & took the growing point out of my a erinacea, maybe in many yrs time :lol:

Thats a beautiful plant. How big is the pot it is in? It doesn't look as if it flowers though.

Judging by its region of distribution it would indicate that it receives Autumn/Winter rains. They also receive a lot of light, but under glass they can scorch so easily in this country. They are pretty plants, but so slow and rarely flowering in the UK
Especially interested in Mesembs. small Aloes and South African miniatures and bulbs.
