Another rare specy seen during a travel in south Madagascar near Fort Dauphin

Stunning pics! Looking at those images of capitata I wonder why I have these, they look HUGE! Do all varieties grow so tall (I have quartziticola)? I also have conifera, but I am struggling with that one. My plant has a tendency to loose its roots quite easily. Still, it's alive. That A. fallax is awesome! Aloe capitata cipolinicola is the only specy of capitata to have a trunk all the others are acaulous
And I agree with Castillon who separate in his book cipolinicola and create a specy :cipolinicola (tu)
Conifera grow on inselberg with a little stickness of the soil (4-5cm) so a good draining mix in a cup (no deep pot ) and no calcareous
For the fallax mine are also green even here in the south of France (Now I have some suckers I'll try the full sun next year )
