Lithos could probably help you get the Japanese label translated. He has contacts and I'm sure he wouldn't mind you asking.

Mike - I think the spelling is Colchicine. It comes from the Autumn Crocus if my memory serves me correctly. I should have Googled it before posting this!

Hmm, well I love it so must make me a surrogate MUM a friend in the US had to have one after seeing my plant.

It's a trendy candle surely?

I can see the wick in the centre
it doesn't feel like a live plant the dermis is really thick so maybe it is a candle & I will never get roots :lol: .
