Can you open either? Adobe says that the pdf is corrupted and the spreadsheet is gobbledegook when OpenOffice tries to read it (I don't have MS office).

They both open fine for me, Phil.
But the excel file is a .xls (97-03) file so Open Office won't open it.
The pdf works fine, it's a v1.5 (Acrobat 6.x) file, opens in my Acrobat Reader XI.

Puzzling. OpenOffice copes fine with most of the other .xls files that they create for their seedlists (some freeze but they're never garbled like this one). I'm on the same Adobe Reader and I've checked for updates.

I've re-downloaded them and the pdf now opens and the xls is trying to open, which is a more usual state of affairs. I must just've picked a bad moment earlier.

Another Czech seed seller has updated a list: http://www.cactus-succulent.com/new-offer/

I have no personal experience ordering from this seed seller. But an interesting list it is.

The name of the guy is Jan Jecminek. The E-Mail is also for me a big question.
