The czechs have their own way of working. The Klub seems to prefer treating the orders in batches, rather than dispatching them as soon as they come in. I ordered before the 25th of October and duly received a confirmation mail, stating which seeds they had available and how much they will cost. No action is required by then. Yesterday I received a request to pay through Paypal, this time with the cost of packing and postage included, and I did pay. I am now waiting for the seeds to arrive. As this is the first time I buy seeds from them, I can't say a thing about quality.

Thank you for your response, but I recently ordered some plants from a Check and I got a confirmation from a man in an hour or maybe two. The order come in in 4 days (weekend and 1 day holyday included) after the payment. So Chechs don't all do the same way. But I will obviously have to wait paitenetly.

I will be very surprised if you already received an invoice and paid for you order. I placed mine with Mr. Dohnalik a month ago and I am still waiting for him to tell me how much is the total amount.

Plants are probably a different matter. I suspect - and so do others - that the seeds that make up for the bulk of the lists from Czech suppliers actually come from a common "pool" that probably extends to Slovakian suppliers as well. I suspect that the logistics involved in moving the seeds needed to fulfill every order make it impractical to process orders individually. But I may be completely wrong and that's just the 4 or 5 suppliers I have ordered from. :)

Aiko wrote:The seed list of Ludwig Bercht has come out too. The website has not been updated (yet), but I received a list via e-mail. I am sure you can contact him via the website for a list request. Highly specialised on South American cacti, of which many many Gymnocalyciums.
The website has now been updated too: http://www.bercht-cactus.nl/bl.php?a=listindex&l=en
