Thank you Thord. Sometimes I wish i had a bigger car....and less companions. Well, I liked the companionship but it is true I had to pull myself back not to get too much with me.

Don't the red edges to the leaves mean that it's 'Quadricolor' rather than 'Tricolor'?

Some nice buys.

That is not all you had in the trunk, I saw much much more.
I was alone in my car and I only brought home 6 cacti.
Here are three of them. The other three were: Astro. mryostigma nudum, Echinofoss. coptonogonus and Hawortia (forgot the name :D)

Nice plants, Maja! The Agave IS A. lophantha 'Quadricolor', and if you want to be really fashionable, it also goes under the Japanese name 'Goshiki Bandai'!

The pink edge to the Quadricolor leaf is just from stress, it will soon go with more watering.

Guys, thank you for your comments.

As about Quadri/tri color....if Plapp says it is Nocolor - who am I to doubt it. He says Tricolor...so...

Sandi. I didn't had time yet to take pictures of all I had in the trunk. Many of it wasn't even mine... But folks, Sandi is the one who gave me a whole box of little prickly ones. I will get to it to put them on the net.

Just to add my 2 pence/ 2 cents(for more US inclined readers)

Lophantha 'Quadricolour' - I am seeing 3 shades of green plus a creamy yellow. That is 4 colours in my book even when the red stress has disappeared!

But that is just my opinion and observation
Especially interested in Mesembs. small Aloes and South African miniatures and bulbs.
