Fabulous, the Dorstenias.
I had one or two in a previous life, decades ago. Just getting back into growing this year, i went to the Oxford show and saw Gillian Evison's superb plant - it came back to me just how much I love these extraordinary plants!
Will have to make some room on the warm windowsill!

What a dear little flower. You must be proud after all that time Phil.
Happy carrier of Forby Disorder - an obsession with Euphorbia obesa.

Super photo, I love its whiskery shy face!

Hi Christer - still plenty of species missing from my drawings !
Julie - thank you for comments on the photo, they are just hand held shots with an old and cheap Fuji FinePix S5800 (around £50) great little camera with big zoom and extra Macro, or something like that, I'm really no expert, sometimes I press the wrong button and it takes videos for hours

Interesting. Almost reminds me of an African Violet in some way.

28th of September and 'Doris' the Dorstenia as she has become known, is keeling over from all that exertion and an attack of mildew. Remains to be seen if there will be a seed or two.
