It's been a while and buds have been getting ever longer.
'Piccolo' opened up to a fabulous bell shaped 22cm across on 27 May. The bud was more than 18cm long. The petals are wide; just nine complete the 360°, and they are each 4·5 cm across, deep rich colours. The flower petals were a bit floppy in the wind, and I hope to take a better image of the next bud next week to show the overall shape of the bloom.
'Millicent Ballard' had a flower 14cm across on 22 May.

Super flowers and photos, Roger. I like the visitor on the final bloom.

Re: Epiphyllum beauty
Here are three more (no more Trapeze after today, I promise).
Epiphyllum hybrids: Click on images to magnify.
1 'Duke of Windsor', flower 16cm across.
2. 'Trapeze', flowers about 18cm across.
3. Pink (Probably Desiree x Zeberdee) flower about 12cm across on a small plant. One of my own hybrids (unregistered name 'Mycyn' for my own convenience)

Re: Epiphyllum beauty
Epiphyllum hybrid 'Winston', flower 14cm across. Sorry about the tatty plant!
Epiphyllum hybrid 'Mrs Gertrude Beahm', flower 16cm across.
Epiphyllum hybrid 'China Bowl', flower 12cm across.
Epiphyllum hybrid 'Cooperi', flower 20-22cm across.
Epiphyllum hybrid 'Dracula', flower 15cm. This plant has the most intense blood-red flowers of any of my epis. quite striking, especially from the outside of the petals. I had this from Terry Hewitt many years ago, thought I'd lost it, but now have several strong rooted specimens. It is a vigorous grower.
Incidentally, if anyone wants to grow some epis from seeds, I have a lot spare from 2015 and 2016 pods. Swap 150 seeds (5 named crosses) for a single unrooted cutting? Message me.

Re: Epiphyllum beauty
I just found this thread and have read every post. I've been taking care of someone's Epiphyllum (I think there are E. oxypetalum) and really like the long swooping stems.
So does anyone know of another Epiphyllum with long swooping stems but with flowers that last more than one night? Even better if someone has a cutting/seeds.
Thanks!

Alison. Mostly interested in succulents. Always like a good Faucaria and outdoor Sedum. Currently gathering plants that could be confused with Pachyphytum oviferum.

Re: Epiphyllum beauty
I haven't put up any of my photos recently, and the Epis finished weeks agao, so I'll start with this question for epi-addicts.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to the ID of this plant? It was obtained three years ago from a (very good) eBay seller as Acapulco Sunset, and flowered in early June; clearly not E. 'Acapulco Sunset'. The seller doesn't recognise it, and another nearby grower can't either.
The flower was 22cm across and lasted into the third day. The plant is a vigorous grower!
