I was very sadden to hear this news. Lindsey was a long time contributor to the forum, intelligent, friendly, witty, helpful and generous. We exchanged many pms and emails, on forum matters, growing and sometimes just chat. We swapped a few plants, but more often than not plants would arrive in the post with no notification, just a little note "Got this from xxxxxx and I thought you might like a bit of it". Despite not being a member for the last few years, she had a keen interest in the society and always wanted the best for it and the forum.

Despite her illness a little quote from her forum signature sums her up "Ever hopeful".

The hobby and forum are a littler poorer for her passing.

My condolences to her family.

RIP Lindsey you will be sorely missed.

This is such sad news! I too benefitted from her generosity both in terms of help and advice that I received from her, and in terms of plants that we swapped. I will miss that expertise and the sense of humor that she brought to the Forum... RIP Lindsey, and my condolences to her family.

Sad news, a generous lady who helped me out with things to grow when I started out a few years or so ago aswell as answering any questions I had.

The forum and BCSS has lost a great lady.

Condolences to all her family

Veery sad news. :(

I had not met Lindsey or have any of her plants but I always remember her posts to be thoughtful and informative. She had a great deal of knowledge and also had a sense of the beauty of nature which came across in her words. It's sad to think we won't read her posts again.

My best wishes to her family and close friends at this time.

NB. Anyone failing to provide a sensible name for me to address them will be called, or referred to, as Fred.
