Hi everyone,

I have introduced myself on a section "Introduce Yorself". I will show here some photos of my collection in Finland. Because I have many pictures, I will put them here gradually. Some of the cacti have grown considerably since I took the picture.

I also have a few succulents other than cactus (mainly at my office at the hospital).

Euphorbia horrida

This mother plant made a baby in Autumn 1.5 years ago, but due to the long and dark winter, the growth was highly elongated (see photo). Now it looks much better, but I don't have a new picture.

Finally, here is a photo showing the poor light conditions in winter (naturally, there are also sunny days in winter, but the daylight only lasts for a few hours). However, all my opuntias have grown extremely well. This one in the photo has already reached the ceiling (like Opuntia brasiliensis). Likewise, my Opuntia monacantha variegata is 1.5 meter wide and tall. Also Pilosocereus has reached the ceiling, but it's growth is not as thick as it should be (due to the lack of light). The growth of my Echinocereus grusonii and Ferocactus is also elongated, but I will post new photos with my question regarding to the shape of their growth later under a new headline.

Seems someone has a thing for unusual colors and shapes :)

Two things you should pay attention to:

1. Columnar cacti look like 'I had light, i didn't have light'. they should have pretty much the same diameter all the way to top.
2. I don't know what kind of soil mix you use, but still, no reason to pot small plants into too big pots.

Just a friendly suggestions :)
