Erdisia apiciflora

Post by Peter Cupial-Jones »

Hi,

here is a genus you dont see much in this forum (or anywhere else for that matter). The NCL has Erdisia lumped into Corryocactus. I bought it early this year from the German nurseryman Michael Kiessling simply because I had never seen on for sale before. Its put out 3 new shoots since the beginning of March and now these marvelous red flowes (about 2.5 cm dia). The pot is a 4" square. Mr Kiessling says they will take fairly low temps as well if dry in winter.
