We have a collection of our own :)

Post by JoZoo »

Finally after months of only having young cactus and succulents we finally have some mature plants. I can't tell you how excited I am. Now granted they are not all in great condition and not really anything exciting but they are mine. :). Now to work on getting that greenhouse up and running.

Looks like a good start to me Jo, looks like you have another recumberant Mamillaria. I have great admiration for people who have interests and hobies akin to their work. For some unknown reason I need to keep work and pleasure apart, it probably took me ten years to get back into photography as a hoby when I left the business.
Regards Keith.

That certainly is a good start. You know the law of greenhouses? You always build it double as large as you think you need, and then you run out of space!
I am full up, but off to ELK to get more......

Hi Tina, Is it this one you mean? It is an astrophytum but I'm not sure of the species without doing a bit of research. Sadly not many of the plants have names on them so I will need to do some ID work.

Yes, a very nicely marked Astrophytum indeed! Take good care of that one, you don´t see markings like that every day! (tu)
