NATIONAL SHOW 2016 SPONSORSHIP - NEARLY THERE

Members will have received in their September Journal a list of classes in the National Show on 20th August 2016. This is an event not to be missed and many more details will be published nearer the time.
It has always been traditional that prize money for the winners of every class is provided by sponsorship by branches, zones and individuals. Requests have already been sent to all branch contacts, zone reps and anyone who sponsored the last show in 2012. However it is quite likely that some sponsors from last time are no longer with the Society so new sponsors are always welcome. So far as at November 21st just under half the available classes have already been sponsored.

If you would like to sponsor a class the cost is £15.00 which can be paid either by cheque or direct bank transfer. Please email me at treasurer@bcss.org.uk or send a PM and I will send you the address or bank account details so that you can send your payment to me.

Although you may express a preference to sponsor a designated class as listed in the September 2015 CactusWorld it may not be possible to exactly match that due to competing demands in which case your sponsorship will be allocated to the nearest available class consistent with your request. Alternatively you may leave your sponsorship “OPEN” in which case it will be allocated to any available class. All sponsorships will be individually acknowledged within the show on the day. A list of all sponsors will also be published in the edition of CactusWorld that carries the show report unless you specifically request not to appear in that list.

As of January 30th we now have only 23 classes left requiring sponsors. Four of these are cacti classes and the remaining 19 are other succulents. Please see details in the original post above if you would like to sponsor one.
