Well, happy new year everybody
I only remember to come on here occasionally, so why now?
January 5th 2016, and my mate "Winston" hasn't got a clue that it is new year, not midsummer!!!
This Epiphyllum hybrid was bought from eBay about three years ago and usually flowers in June; very wise. Not this year though. After threatening to appear at Christmas it was placed on a windowsill and opened to full 16cm on January 5th.
Perhaps a few more "silly" flowers can accompany Winston on this thread (not "Christmas Cacti types; they're supposed to perform at this time of year)
