Anthorrhiza

Post by derrick.rowe »

Photos of Anthorrhiza species are now starting to appear on the WWW for the very first time.
Facebook users may access this one posted primarily as a teaser.

Others may wait until the FREE e/journal xerophilia.ro publish their next online issue, probably next month Mar 2016.
Some Anthorrhiza species are mutualistic symbiotic myrmecophytes (ant-plants) but others are more likely to have symbiotic relationships with larger arthropods or even vertebrates (but probably only optional.)
Anthorrhiza are xerophytic to succulent caudiciforms that require tropical humid environments. They will make ideal subjects for tropical houses in zoos or other public institutions.
