The gallery is now fully operational again at http:/forum.bcss.org.uk/gallery, still need to do a bit more work on the look, especially the header.
All branch, zone websites and data storage areas have been moved to the dedicated BCSS server. That leaves the biggest jobs the website and forum, then aim is to move them middle of next week, I will update this thread once the details of the move are finalised, there will be a period of downtime involved.

Re: Service updates
The plan is to move the forum etc over to the new server next Tuesday 26th at 20:00. In preparation for the move I will be taking the forum off-line around 19:30 and with the best part of 50gb plus to copy over plus the time it will take for the nameservers to populate through the system, it will may 4 hours or so before it's back on line.

Re: Service updates
Sorry for the delay in coming back on-line we had one or two server side issues that needed rectifying.

Re: Service updates
I tried to log on last night and could not, I forgot you were going off-line. I'm very glad to see you back, I thought there was something wrong with my computer.

Re: Service updates
Thanks guys.
Unfortunately I need to do a software update over the weekend so we'll be offline for an hour or two, but it will late in the evening so shouldn't cause too much convenience.

That was an old link to the forum which had had a redirect on it.
Better to use this now:

Side effect of the move to the new server is we have lost all the redirects, I will have a word with Tony about it.

Is this really going to happen on 30th May or should it be 30th April, this Saturday?
