As an ex-chemist, I would say please do not use concentrated sulphuric acid unless you know precisely what you are doing and how to handle any spillages or other accidents.

I can wander from my office into a lab to do this at work - thought the results were worth sharing though.

Is it possible to achieve the same results with something more common and safer to handle? Place the seeds in Coca-Cola for a day or something? Or, if the goal is to weaken the seed coat, do you think it would be a viable alternative to treat the seeds with boiling water? I've done this before with Adansonia seeds with excellent results.
