Being a devote practicing Cactophile it always puzzles me as to what you Other Succulent fans allow and reject, when some of the "rejects" seem more succulent than those you allow. I photographed a few wild flowers in Chile when I was there and though I did not see any myself I remembered reading about the "Rosulate Violets" which are certainly just as succulent as the Aeonium tabuliforme from the Canary Islands you grow.
How about these then as true Succulents?

Yes, definitely, you really should start growing them to show us your skills of cultivation.

Re: Are'nt these Succulents?
My spell checker seems to have stopped working on the Forum since I upgraded to Windows 10 Tony, though still working for emails. I have noticed it does not now work on other sites also. With my eyesight and one finger typing, plus probably am overdue for new computer glasses, I don't always pick these things up these days and always relied on the checker highlighting them in the past.
Has anybody else noticed the loss of the checker on upgrade to Windows 10?

Re: Are'nt these Succulents?
Hi Dave
as for 'other succulents' I grow what ever takes my fancy. I have a wide range of allsorts of things, some grown for shape and form, some really ugly little plants that have the most amazing flowers.
I even grow a few varieties of kalanchoe (mother of millions) for the stunning flowers.
I must say I am quite taken with the look of Rosulate Violas but the greenhouse is busting..... something will have to give soon

Never seen those before - they are stunning plants! II will have to try and find some to try in my garden! Thank you for highlighting them, even if it was inadvertently.

Re: Are'nt these Succulents?
I could go for some of those in my rockery. Might have to find some way of dropping the damp factor a few-fold ...

That is sad - I joined in a conversation about these 2 years ago and have absolutely NO memory of it.
Shame, really.

Yea, mine just stopped at some stage while using Win10. But it has only stopped working on my browser, Firefox.DaveW wrote:My spell checker seems to have stopped working on the Forum since I upgraded to Windows 10 Tony, though still working for emails. Works fine for me on MS Edge and Google Chrome.
Solution is probably to reload Firefox, but just a bit reluctant to do that at the moment due to extensions and plugins I have loaded.
Try reloading your browser......
