Opuntia

Post by Roger Mann »

Can anyone kindly point me into the direction of any UK nurseries or easy to trade with abroad that have a good selection of Opuntia's or Tephros. Perhaps I'm asking too much. Also where can I find a list of the many good nurseries that were at The National. May be you know someone with spares for sale. Thank you, Roger Mann (Essex)

You might also try Michi at http://chiemgau-kaktus.de. He ships within the EU and the UK are still in the EU, right? His plants are excellent, plus he really likes Opuntia and Tephros.

The links are really long, check: "Kategorien": "Pflanzen > Feigenkakteen" and "Pflanzen > frostharte Kakteen > Opuntia Formen".

Jessica
I have wanted to buy plants from Michael before but as I don't speak German I can never figure out where to go on his website for postage cost and if he takes PayPal
I also had the same problem with kakteen schwarz when I was wanting to buy some plant pots as they never replied to my email

Postage was around 20 Euros earlier this year. I note the English language section of the site has now vanished. If you email Michael he replies in English.
