OK the one in the greenhouse hasn't changed a bit :sad:

But for the one indoors, with a few days under the growlights, this finally happened this morning:

I've been looking back through my photos and see M. hernandezii in flower in June two years ago. The little seedlings are all covered in buds right now though.

A lovely flower, Gerald, and well captured. I wonder if it was the extra light or the extra heat that triggered it. Perhaps both.

And today, after about a week under the growlights, we finally have this, almost a 'Christmas cactus' :grin:

I bet you would not get them to flower like than in Burnley James!
Nottingham Branch BCSS. Joined the then NCSS in 1961, Membership number 11944. Cactus only collection.
