Thanks Suzanne. I'm sooooo looking forward to getting the bulletin with the seed list. Need some reading here to help me get over having shingles.

My copy arrived today (23rd) so they have started to arrive in the UK. My copy has travelled about 30miles from its point of production, so its velocity has been just under 0.2 miles per hour!

Hopefully, your February Haworthiad arrived too? I'm told haworthias travel faster than mesembs!Terry S. wrote:My copy arrived today (23rd) so they have started to arrive in the UK. I was fascinated to learn that Haworthias travel faster than Mesems. On a more serious note, why are not these journals sent by E-mail to those with E-mail addresses? I suppose that not all the recipients have given their E-mail addresses to the society. However, if the society assures members that the addresses are not sold on to outside organisations, would this not satisfy those who do not want unsolicited messages? Then you could have an electronic race!

Good idea Liz.....I wonder if the paper journal producers of any of the societies have considered it. I for one would actually prefer a .pdf over a paper copy. Takes up much less space and I could print any or all if I wanted to. I'm sure anyone choosing this could also get a reduced membership fee.Liz M wrote:....... why are not these journals sent by E-mail ......?
Seems like the future to me.

Both journals arrived here today too. So a tie!
My copy of haworthiad was in a second royal mail plastic envelope as the paper one had torn in the post, fortunately the journal was undamaged inside.
I am one of those who would always prefer a proper paper journal to read, and would consider unsubscribing if only a pdf was offered.
