Of those who went, did you get anything special? Did you enjoy the day?

I got more than I intended  but not too much. Especially pleased with some of my shick hybrids and some nice escobaria.

Yes - I was there, I hadn’t been before.

I did very well – bought 22 plants.
Some sellers did not have their names displayed so I don’t know who sold me some of them but excellent value for money from Wendy Edginton as usual.
The only non-hybrid Echinopsis I managed to find was E. leucantha, also the only Lobivia I found was L famatinensis. Apart from those I bought various plants including a Tephrocactus subterraneus which I haven’t tried before.
I noticed several locals coming to see what it was all about and spoke to one couple who were amazed at the different plants and how they flowered – I think they had only seen them on cowboy films!
All in all a very successful trip – I’m a happy grower – now where can put them all?

Favourites: Echinopsis group (no hybrids!), Ferocactus, Gymnocalycium, Rebutia.....
