I think most people just meet at the bar & then stagger back to their rooms later.
Also at ELK, you can attend the 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the I. E. S.( International Euphorbia society) The meeting will take place on Saturday September 9th, 2017 at 2 p. m.
Its in a room by the side of the cafeteria ( I believe),
Also note the lecture by Bob Potter on Saturday September 9th at 10:30 a. m. local time, entitled A Euphorbia Odyssey.

Arrangements are well in hand for an Opuntia meeting and a talk on small Opuntias : "Small Opuntias from North-West Argentina" on Saturday 9th September at 16.15hrs at this year's ELK
