Neoporteria occulta seed germinations inside fruit

Post by gerald »

I think there was a thread recently that showed seeds germinating inside the pod; today I found just that on this Neoporteria occulta. Apologies for the poor pic, but you can just about make out some tiny green specs in the red fruit.

The fruit has been on there about a year so the seeds probably thought enough is enough, let's go for it. Sadly I'm not a seed grower so I won't be growing them on.
