Re: Opuntia Book
The mostly North American genus Opuntia or the wider subfamily Opuntioideae?

Re: Opuntia Book
There are a couple on the small Tephro type Opuntia's, but one is now out of print I think.

Looks as though Daiv still stocks it, but don't know the postage cost from USA to UK.

You can also find information on the Tephro Study Group website dealing with all small Opuntia's. It is now free to join since they became a web based society so have ceased charging a subscription.

Re: Opuntia Book
Yes, the TSG is on facebook https://www.facebook.com/groups/609707212454078/ and has it's own somewhat moribund website tephro.com/ but there's some good stuff at http://tephro.com/index.php/the-journal ... title.html
Two books you can look at as pdf files: https://cactuspro.com/biblio/en:leightonboyceiliff and https://cactuspro.com/biblio/en:kiessling . I often refer to Iliff's run through of all the old unintelligible names in http://www.newcactuslexicon.org/other_t ... iodeae.htm which you can sometimes find 'on offer'. There's a "Further Studies..." too.
There's this article https://cactuspro.com/biblio/en:kieslin ... untioideae though it has its flaws. Vol 44 page 61 (of the pdf) of https://cactuspro.com/biblio/en:csjgb has a decent article on Pterocactus.
For thoughts on the phylogeny of most of the South American Opuntioideae see http://opuntiads.com/records/Molecular% ... untias.pdf [the pdf].
For the true Opuntia, I tend to rely on https://www.opuntiads.com/ and there's a busy fb group that's principally for these, too https://www.facebook.com/groups/169593409746097/
