I use the Brother P-touch system, I have a handheld printer and one that I can use attached to a PC which allows labels to be printed from an Excel spreadsheet. Other thought here http://www.forum.bcss.org.uk/viewtopic. ... er#p252194

P-touch P750W here also. Just haven't mastered the art of printing from excel yet. I just type them in using the P-touch editor software which is downloadable from the Brother site.

Ours is a P-Touch 1230 PC. Works great with Excel lists. Black on clear plastic tape stuck to white 4 inch labels, "as new" after 7 years.

I hsve one of those and they are brilliant.

You can get three lines of text on a label and copy/paste from PC.

The lablels aren't too cheap, but they look very smart and last for ages.

I get mine from labelzone.

Some of my p-touch labels have been on over 10 years and look as good as the day they went on.

I use Labelzone for my labels with one side advertising my details and the blank side I use a LabelStation Pro200 laser printer brought from them.

Not cheap but backup & technical support is good.

I favour the squat BCSS labels but cannot find a label printer to fit the size, any suggestions?

I print on 18mm brother tape and cut it up to fit the society labels. A bit of a palaver if there is a lot of info but usually ok. I think I get 4 lines of small writing. Yes it is small but quite clear.
