There are some remarkable pictures of C&S on Pinterest but are they for real?

Pinterest pictures are usually links to sites or blogs when you click on them. Whether they are real or not depends on the site.

A lot of those images are probably (td) "shared" (td) from other sources, sometimes without permission.

I had to complain to Pinterest that someone in the USA had uploaded one of my Gymno flowers without my permission.

I have to agree with Chris, I have a very low opinion of Pinterest IMO just another way to avoid copyright and create orphan images.

Stealing images without asking is the main reason I watermark all my website gallery photos with my name. It's not foolproof as it can be removed if you know how but is a good deterrent. Mine were appearing on ebay purporting to be an example of what was being sold.

To give them credit though, when I did complain the image was removed without question and pretty quickly too.

Because of the Photobucket fiasco from earlier in the year I am re-uploading lots of pictures and they all have watermarks on now. Not foolproof, as they can be cropped, but a deterrent nonetheless.
