Are the bottom leaves getting brown, or all leaves?
The first should be normal, happens to Aloe, Yucca and alike plants too.

Hi,
I bought one too and repotted it but into much smaller pot than you have transferred yours into. Your plant looks dry but I have no knowledge. Mine is in conservatory in full sun (when it shines - facing South) so I water it each morning. Mine is not as big as yours but no brown on leaves yet! Let's hope someone who knows can enlighten us!

Looks like normal browning of the leaves, like any Aloe, Yucca or Calibanus hookeri.

They can take quite a bit of water (mine's outside at the moment, so cold, shady and gets drenched every day).
I imagine IKEA's nursery will keep them in tropical damp conditions for maximum growth.

IKEA's nursery? It was bought at Lidl.

Growing a mixed collection of cacti & other succulents; mainly smaller species with a current emphasis on lithops & conophytum.

Oops, got my retailers mixed up. It's not unlikely that it would be the same nursery, or growth regime, in any case.

I bought a similar plant from Tesco a while ago when they were on offer as past display date. Most of the leaves turned brown or pale green and fell off but after my "expert" care (water when something nearby looks like it is suffering) all the leaves are now a healthy green.

Mine did this when it was indoors so it could be low light.

They love wet conditions and need high light, especially when growing.
I just got mine indoors as frost is expected Sunday morning but they were out from spring and was wet and cold even with September rains at night with 8 degrees celcius at night!

Give it more light I guess.
