you are right was what I understand its the Chinese. I know for sure last year with mesa the Chinese bought almost everything. maybe your right with e-bay.

I seen these before.The thief brutally cut the plant from root. Taking away only top part.
And tossing pot away like trash.Seen these precious plant be treat like that break my heart.

The greenhouse is big, thief can;t search every pot for the target risking.
He must been invite to greenhouse before, knowing the place of each target.
And pick a time to make move.Taking away only the most value plant.

This is not the last case,it is still happening. Japan haworthia society made a Statistics,20 case in 2016 that is a lot.

Thats heartbreaking to see, it's not just the stolen plants but also the fact that they left the remains in such a bad state. They may have been able to salvage some pieces but not left like that.
