Another cracking edition, Sheila. Just love the habitat reports.
Mystery aloe is Aloe striatula, the hardiest of the genus. Chap I got mine from originally had his return from below ground after -18C back in the 80s - a temp that saw off a lot of 'hardy' garden plants.

Enjoyable and informative as ever. An example of how to compile a good magazine.
