An interesting video, making the point that human lives are too short to really see there are no such things as stable or permanent habitats, even removing the hand of man from the equation. The plants are either in a thriving period or gradually dying out and have done so throughput history. Also plants can often survive as seed through periods when all living examples actually die out and are falsely declared extinct.
