Looking very good, nice tidy greenhouse.
When my agave flowered, I measured the flower stalk frequently, it was surprising on a sunny day how much the flower could grow. Looks like it's not going to be too tall.

I was hoping to keep it inside to pollinate it but another 6 inches and it will have to be moved outside before it's too late. Don't really want it to slip by the shading material and get up into the roof otherwise it could be a bit too hot for seed set. Just hope that we have seen the last of the ground frosts for this year.
It does seem to have slowed down a bit over the last 2 days but the top few inches is getting fatter now.

Stunning, such a great picture. I guess you moved it outside before it got too tall to move. The weather recently must have had a good effect on the flower stalk.
Obsessive Crassulaceae lover, especially Aeoniums but also grow, Aloes, Agaves, Haworthias and a select number of Cacti.

My local climate is better suited to growing agaves outdoors (other than very tender ones like A. attenuata - those do best along the coast). I put some agaves in the ground last year and one of them decided it'd send up a flower already. I was hoping for a nice tall multi-tiered inflorescence like A. americana, but it turned out to be a simpler raceme. The flowers look very similar to yours, it may be a related hybrid or species.
In one of the pictures you can see one of my other agaves, which looks very similar to your flowering one.
Agave similar to agavedave's. It has very small, fragile teeth at the leaves' edges.

It does look similar, If it is celsii(mitis) then there may be some pups appearing between the leaves once flowering is done.
