My first Rebutia flower

Post by Sylvia »

This Rebutia opened is flowers this morning, I think it is so pretty. Cannot wait for the rest of the Rebutias to flower as they are late this year.

My true Rebutias started a couple of weeks ago, then some A. fiebrigii and A. einsteinii clones a week ago, and now I'm getting A. kupperiana, flavistyla (including an interesting yellow flowered one) and some A. pygmaeas. Must be all the light and fresh air up here!

My rebutias are just beginning to bud so will probably be three to four weeks later than yours, Sylvia. It's been cold and cloudy up here until a week ago, now it's back to cold and cloudy after that brief intermission.

Mine are the same as yours Rod budding up well but will be a couple of weeks before they perform. Our spell of hot weather has disappeared too. Quite chilly this morning. This particular Rebutia is always early to flower.
