ralphrmartin wrote:Well, Kakteen Koch only deliver pots to Germany. As for Sima and Kakteen Schwarz, while I can just about manage some rudimentary German for an email, I'm not up to discussing details over the phone. How can businesses operate in this day and age without email? I suspect my order would be too small for Sima to directly supply me, anyhow.

As I said, I'll either order with Uhlig, or maybe piggyback on some order with Bill, when he gets back to me...
Uhlig is significantly more expensive than buying from Schwarz, e.g. 10 pots are 8 Euros on Uhlig vs 4.50 on Schwarz (same product). I've never ordered from Schwarz, but it may be worth the hassle of no communication for the saving.

Torbjorn wrote:Yes it is very aqward not to be able to communicate with Swarz by e-mail. I have just placed the order, waited for a quote, this is sent by e-mail, payed by bank transfer (only option), and waited for a delivery. In the several orders, during 10 years or so, it has workt, and the Sima pots, and the labels I usually also buy, are good quality for the money.
Hi Torbjorn, did you order via email with a list of what you wanted? The add to cart button does not appear to function on the Schwarz website.

That button in the header brings up the form where you say what page range you want - but then there is no download button on the form...

If you fill the form in with a valid email address they send you a link to a page which opens a pdf file that you can save - just done it and tried to email you a copy

Sadly Philip who produced and sold those pots passed away recently and there has be no news on what will happen to the pots.

Mainly Haworthia and Gasteria, a few other South African succulents and the odd spiky thing.
