Crassula for id

Post by ralphrmartin »

I have two (identical) Crassula plants labelled C. browniana, and C. expansa ssp. fragilis; they have rounded leaf tips. I have also mysteriously acquired the plant shown below which is similar, but has distinctly pointed leaf tips rather than rounded. Can anyone point me to a name? I presume it is a Crassula, but it hasn't flowered...

Crassula browniana is a synonym of C. expansa subsp. fragilis these days, which has an enormous range from summer-rainfall areas of South Africa to Tanzania and Madagascar. Your photo is acceptable as this also.

Best wishes,

Thanks, Derek. I like the red stems on this one.
