A few nice Mediolobivia flowers

Post by ralphrmartin »

I suggest you just admire the flowers, but in most cases you can read the names and field numbers off the labels if you really want them. The white one is just down as Mediolobivia sp. and is a form of pygmaea.

I love them, I would love to start growing these. I got a few packets from the seed list in December but I think I might have to buy some plants too.

Well ahead of mine Ralph. I was trying for a full set of pygmaea's a few years back as I find their flowers irrestible.
Sadly JP has all but ceased to be a source for these in recent years so I too have started growing them from seed

They are lovely Ralph. I have a number of these too and they are always the first to flower.

SuccSeed and Ralf Hillmann are good sources for these plants.

I also have a few spares for swap (or sale) from time to time myself...
