Absolutely. Succulent, but thirsty.

Lovely, succulent plants!
I find they get eaten by birds if put outside. Does anyone else have this problem?

Yes I do have this problem also. I had a lovely Delosperma in a large pot on the pavement at the front of my house where I grow a few succulents. Over the winter it got completely pecked to the ground by the local pigeons (unfortunately my elderly neighbour put scraps out for them so they're always hanging around). After they'd eaten that they started on the other plants in the pot.

If anyone knows of any succulents that are extremely toxic to pigeons please let me know!

Pleased to say the Delosperma has just started growing back, but I fear that the pigeons will start on it again soon. I'm surprised that the plant survived there totally unprotected from the Beast from the East. Plant was labelled Delosperma sutherlandii Peach Star.

My D. sutherlandii went one particularly cold winter, although I'd have expected to lose it due to the wet.
