This plant surprised me by flowering at only 2 years old from seed:
Mammillaria longiflora
I like to line out seedlings in trays until they have all flowered, to pick the best to keep:
here are Rebutia kupperiana and a single flower on R. padcayensis
This plant has lots of buds this year, despite only being in a 41/2 inch pot. It has been flowering for about 4 years now:
Ferocactus macrodiscus

A very old plant of Eriocyce napina
There's a plant under there somewhere Rebutia narvaecensis
A seedling Lobivia famatimensis
One of my various colour forms of Sulcorebutia krugeri
Its hard to think of a jollier succulent at this time of year, a gift from LizM, now filling a nice hand-thrown 5 inch pan Sedum humifusum
