Cross pollination
I cross pollinated Strombocactus discoformis and Turbinicarpus schmiedickianus and here is the result.

Strombocatus disciformis is often self-fertile (mine are) so you may have simply self-pollinated it. The seeds are like dust, germinate easily, but need enclosed conditions for quite a long time until large enough to transplant.
