Feeling full yet?

I don't know how you grow your Epithelanthas, but mine are generally white. This one has been having a good time and looks like it might explode at any moment.

Nice plant, Iann. These are my micromeris (var. densispina) [= subsp. greggii] seedlings, certainly very white and densely spined.

Tony,
you have more than the maximum permitted number of this plant. I'll dispose of the excess for you right away.

I hope the cactuspolice is not checking up on my Epithelantha pots as I had a very good germination last year...

Looks like an item to add to my next year's seed purchases, then...

micromeris is self fertile and fresh seeds are very viable.
One plant (which I no longer have) would always produce fruit with 12 seeds in each - must have been in the genes?

So did I, then the snails came and now I only have one lonely little seedling. :(

The snails confiscated my year old bokei last year :angre:

I had thought being a bit bigger and covered in dense white spines would protect them but no. Fortunately I have new seedlings this year, they will NOT be placed anywhere snails can get at them.
