Assuming the tube is fairly hairy, it's possibly a Lobivia cinnabarina form (there are many) or a hybrid thereof.

Hi,
Thank you for your responses. I too thought it might be a Lobivia when I first bought it, but the buds and flower tube are not hairy (I should perhaps have said that in my original post).
So I wonder if it is a Sulco, and Christer's suggestion of S. tarijensis would seem to be a good one.
